Similar to the traditional New England Clambake, a lobster bake is a traditional way to cook seafood, in this case, lobster. Lobster and other ingredients such as corn, red potatoes, and more, are placed in a cooking vessel over a fire. The ingredients, within layers of fresh seaweed, are steamed over the fire for roughly 45 minutes to an hour. People can also add additional seafood items to the bake, including clams and mussels.

It’s easy! Just head to our “Contact Us” section below and tell us a little bit about your event, specifically the date, the number of people, and location. Someone will reach out to request some additional information, such as dietary restrictions, what we need to provide that typically isn’t, or if additional proteins other than lobster need to be provided. From there, we’ll be able to give you an accurate quote for your event.

Since we’re coming to you, there are a couple of things that need to be provided. First, a nearby hose or spigot. Second, a hard, flat surface for us to place our grill. We can’t put our grill and cooking station on top of grass or uneven terrain for a number of reasons.

Typically, tables, chairs, tablecloths, silverware, and glassware are the responsibility of the host. However, we can provide some or all of these items at an additional cost.

We request a deposit equal to 50% of the final cost.

You’re able to cancel your event up to 10 days in advance for a full refund. A cancellation less than 10 days prior the event will result in Caddo retaining the 50% deposit. Rather than forfeit your deposit in the case of a last minute cancellation, we would be happy to reschedule your event for a later date!

The price per person depends on how many people are in your group. The smaller the group, the higher the price per person. The price per pound of live Maine lobster is lower if the order is larger, and we strive to pass those savings on to you.

Gratuity is most certainly appreciated but it is not included. If you would like to provide a tip, you can include it with the final payment.
